Welcome to Doorways to Self! It is such a pleasure to meet you. I have been practicing Reiki and Energy Medicine for 12 years. I am certified in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, Usui/Holy Fire® III/World Peace Reiki, Shamanic Reiki and Lightarian® Reiki. In addition, I am also a certified Energy Clearer, Medical Intuitive, Trauma Informed Coach and (IEMT) Integral Eye Movement Therapy Practitioner. I offer holistic healing services and teach Reiki classes in New York and Massachusetts.

We are here to help you heal on a physical, emotional and cognitive level.

How I got here

In 2009 I began getting Reiki treatments to help me balance the stress of trying to balance my career, motherhood and caring for an elderly parent. My early experiences with Reiki were so profound that I decided to learn Reiki for myself.  I had no intention of ever doing this (Reiki) in real life as a career, these were just tools I was adding to my self-care routine. The Universe had other plans for me! I became a Reiki Master in 2014.  In 2015, I began volunteering at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.  For two years I gave Reiki treatments to patients in the Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant wards.  I was blessed with many opportunities at Beth Israel and even got a chance to give Reiki to a patient in pre-op and then accompanied her all the way into the operating room! On another occasion, I was asked to give Reiki to a tiny 2 ½ pound baby in the NICU prior to her open-heart surgery.  It was at Beth Israel that my faith in energy medicine grew, and I was inspired to open my own Reiki practice. 

From 2018 until now, I’ve been blessed to enter many Reiki doorways.  I started with a small commercial space in Salem, MA, then converted to an online practice during the COVID pandemic, then to a hybrid practice of both online and in person as we emerged from the isolation of lockdown.  I am now blessed to be able to offer holistic healing services and teach Reiki in New England and in Upstate New York.
